observe the beauty in spring and realize God is a God of new beginnings
He gives us new strengths, hope, life, and home
New Strengths
Isiah 40:31 "but they wo wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." (ESV)
There are going to be trying and God will provide new strength
1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure." (ESV)
Philippians 4:13 "I can so all things through him who strengthens me." (ESV)
This verse is often miss used
Paul is saying no matter what happens good or bad he can handle it because Christ gives him strength
New Hope
1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." (ESV)
Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope" (ESV)
God doesn't give a little bit of hope but a lot of hope because we worship a God of hope
Lean on the Lord and let him feel you with joy, hope, and happiness
God is the God of new hope
New Life
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (ESV)
Romans 6:3-4 "Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." (ESV)
How do you go from being outside of Christ to going inside of Christ?
You are baptized into Christ
He will give you a brand new life
New Home
Revelations 21:4-5 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. And he who was seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' Also he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'" (ESV)
God has a new place for us
2 Peter 3:13 "But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells." (ESV)
A new heaven and new earth
God is going to have a new dwelling place for man
Our God is a God of New Beginnings
